I love collecting little finds from a holiday. Beach finds, ticket stubs, guide maps, unusual shells — tokens that hold memories of special times. These objects may seem small, but they carry emotions and connect us to our past.
In this one-day workshop, you’ll have time to pause, relax, and create your own curiosity display box to house your treasures. Together, we will:
Paint and decorate a display box to showcase your collected memories.
Explore mark-making techniques to create unique backgrounds.
Make simple printing blocks for texture and pattern.
Embellish a cut image with fabric and mindful stitching.
All abilities welcome. Includes a two course lunch and refreshments.

“I love encouraging people in their creativity and I believe that everyone, given the space and encouragement, can produce a personal and integral piece of artwork they can be proud of.
The foundational technical skills applied to drawing and painting are vital and each class I teach focuses on developing these but I also believe in generating freedom rather than perfection.
My studios are surrounded by nature and create a calming and safe environment where people are inspired to ‘have a go’, drawing inspiration from the work of leading contemporary and historical artists. I love seeing my students discover new depths of creativity and the moment of surprise and pleasure when they start believing that they can do it”
